can not recommend. first one ordered was defective so was the second.found alternate type elsewhere.

After cruising and using the big box product, I thought, for our basement door, there's gotta be a cheaper, serviceable alternative. This isn't it! Pulled on the interior handle, a normal yank, as one sometimes does without turning the knob, and the housings for the screws that hold the 2 knobs together busted bigtime. "White metal." Look for another less pricey alternative, or bite the big box bullet. Argh.

I bought one of this 1. for the good price compare with another knobs, 2. for its good looking. But after a few weeks of using it, it just broke, the material is a very bad metal like the one in toys cars, it's not for daily use, it will break. I only have to say that Cheap things cost more.
