Nice product - good features and works great. Easy installation and nice not to have another key on the key ring. Had a hardware problem with the touchpad (9/0 key would not push in). Called Kwikset tech support and had a replacement item shipped to me within a week.

I have two problems with this product 1) deadbolt motor extremely noisy. My apartment livingroom and bedroom are near front door. So buzzzzing sound of door lock locking and opening is annoying. Both Lowes and Home Depot,Miami had unit on display ($99.00) but not in working order so I could not test it, therefore was unaware of noise. 2) the latch extends 1" from the door edge. The hole in door jam that latch fits in to is only 3/4 inch deep. Therefore, the lock motor runs non-stop trying to extend latch. My door jam is made of steel so I do not know how I am going to cut a deeper hole into it.
