I installed two of these at my house (as I hate carrying keys), installation instructions leave a little to be desired, but I've installed deadbolts and other keyless entries in the past so wasn't that big a deal. If you have the right size opening in your door, you really should be able to install this in under 30 minutes, plenty less if you have any prior experience.
Easy to set the codes, and easy to use.

VERY STURDY! has a good wieght to it wich implies its very well made. I have been using it now for about 3 months, I have replaced the 4 AA batteries only once so far but i think the ones i used first were cheap. The usage and installation is a snap! I can allow a person to get in and take care of my pet while im on vacation without giving out a key and then simply delete the code when i get back.
I love it!

After getting fed up with the fancy Kwikset SmartScan, which never lived up to its promise, I bought the Morning Industry Keypad Deadbolt.
Installation is a breeze if you're replacing an existing deadbolt lock. Just remove the existing deadbolt and screw in this one. Just make sure there's enough room for the battery holder on the inside of the door and for the keypad on the outside, and that the strikeplate is accurately aligned to allow the deadbolt to operate smoothly.
Programming in new codes is very easy, and you can store up to six codes between two and eight digits each. Deleting an individual code is also easy, although you have to remember the code in order to delete it. You can instead delete all the codes in one shot by holding down the clear button. One annoyance is that you have to remove a tiny screw to open compartment containing the programming buttons and batteries; the compartment could have been designed to snap on and off instead.
The lock operates exactly as you'd expect. The keys are easy to read, and there are separate buttons for locking and unlocking the door.
This lock is perfect for a household with frequent guests or service people. The only downside compared with fancier locks is that there's no way to limit the days or times of day that certain codes are active, so if you set a code for your nanny, she now has 24/7 access.

This lock is actually made by Morning Industry, a Chinese company - not by Weiser, as stated in the description. It is designed after the Weiser cypher-lock, that has been around in most hardware stores for some time. They are both ANSI Grade 2 locks, which means that they may have some serious problems. For example, I don't think that the keyway of either of these locks is "bump-resistant."
I won't go into detail here, since I reviewed the Weiser version of this lock, already.

I installed this lock in my rear garage door and I love it. It was easy to install and it works great. I'm always going in and out and this lock makes it so convenient. No more keys to carry around and at the touch of a few buttons to get in and one button to lock the door on my way out. It's great:)
